Historically these little candies were mint flavored and named for the German word mint ‘pfefferminz’, hence their name, PEZ. Now a still popular treat that comes with a playful dispenser, his work shows the PEZ pieces without the dispenser and stacked playfully, as such could be titled a PEZ nude.
